I use mine for a variety of things. Funny quotes, to reflect my mood, to talk to friends (they always know which is meant for them), general ramblings. I once put a status update, when my car wouldn't start, got a quicker response than the AA

I cant stand the ones which are ment to be clever and cryptic - they often fail.

Whats worse are the ones that could be a simple inbox to that one person its aimed at.

I shouldnt but when I read the 'pre-quit' ones I often send a quick inbox offering to help them escape.

Then a few days later find myself following that up with 'Thought you was leaving?'
