Is this for plantar fasciitis? If it is I had the injection two years ago.
I can honestly say it's the most painful thing I have experienced and if it hadn't been administered at the time it was suggested and I'd had time to research it I may not have had it done. |

Hello, i had this injection a few years back in the heel of my foot. To be honest i was in so much pain by the time i got the appointment , i would have been happy for the dr to cut my foot off!! Lol.. Yes the injection did hurt, however the relief i had after suffering months in agony made it bearable. Remember the dr saying please dont kick me in the face... I just braced myself and swore!! Deffinatly worked for me and was almost instant . Good luck and its well worth it |

Yes it us for Plantar ......
Thanks for the advice, now looking forward to it even less. Still if it gives me 6 months respite I would have in a heart beat. |

I found having a Cortisone injection hurt far less than having the fluid drained off my knee (which didn't hurt until they got the last bit, then it hurt like a bastard...nearly took the poor nurses head off with my other leg!) |

The injection itself is painful but I could walk home on it immediately afterwards and there is a very warm sensation experienced.
It is definitely worth having done for the long term results. |

Had 2 in my knee the other month and hurt like a bastard.
Mums had them a fair few times in her heels and says she's used to it now so doesn't really feel it that bad. |

I used stretches and massages to help with my Plantar fascia.
Guess I caught it early or very lucky! |

I had them for Plantar, the first time it hurt like hell, and I have 15 tattoos, I kicked the doctor in the head!! In my defence he didn't warn me he was about to stick it in!!
I had them in both heels 2 weeks apart. I've had them both done 3 times now, and they didn't work the last time, so the doctor is suggesting laser surgery. |

With a cracking view |
Had a few for Plantar years ago.
Stung initially, until the loal took effect, and was able to drive home just in time for the local to wear of.
Then stung for a day or so.
Didn't work for me, and ended up having it surgically released. |
