"Swings and roundabouts. A few years ago there was hardly any stand up comedy on telly short of late night stuff on Channel 4. This will eventually swing back that way, I'm sure.  "

I've seen some weak acts, myself. I've sometimes felt embarrassed for the act. On the up side, I've seen some real surprises, like Caimh Macdonnell who was just a support, but managed to blow everyone away. It's nice when that happens |

i wrote a 5 minute bit of stand up as i applied to do the 'stand up for comedy' thing for red nose day, but didnt get accepted.
would have loved to have given it a go |
