Be a gentleman, put the damn lid down!

This is fact, watched a tv program (Horizon) where they tested what happens at a party ... You would not believe it. Put the lid down, flush and then wash hands.... Every time. |

Just checked with a tea towel sellotaped over the seat and flushed and it was still dry afterwards so that might not be true. |

I always that that this was about the lid, only recently discovered that people were talking about the seat, I can understand the lid but this debate about the seat does my head in

After having a cat who was fascinated by the water in the toilet bowl and who had to be rescued a few times (he thought it was running water and so fresher than his water bowl) I got into the habit of closing the lid as well as the seat.
Since then I've seen programmes which discuss the aerosol effect and it's made me stick to my habit. It also means that I have to lift before I pee so think males should play by the same rules in my house!  |
