Is it just me or does this drive others to distraction as well?
It is bad enough when someone sends a message in this rubbish - at least I can just delete it- but why oh why do people think its a good idea to fill in their profile this way??
You see a picture that appeals to you or find somebody that has looked at you so you check out their profile only to find this unintelligible nonsense that takes so long the decifer you just loose interest before you get half way through it.
It is bad enough when younger people do it, when middle aged folks think its trendy or clever I really fail to "get it"
Anybody who uses it, please justify (but not in txt spk) |

It certainly doesn't annoy me far from it and is useful in many ways.
If someone can't be bothered to write correctly, then I assume they treat life in general the same way. |

It boils my piss too.
Most of the time the words are only missing one or two letters to be cut down into text speak so why they can't be bothered to type those extra two letters or use predictive text if on a phone is beyond me. I just don't get it.
Ahh well, horses for course I guess. |

It's something I try to avoid but it really doesn't bother me enough to go on a rant! Besides, for those complaining, the term "text speak" is bad grammer

I might get shot down for this, but I use it as an intellegence marker. I fine that the sort of people who use it, are probably not going to be the sort of people I will find interesting and float my boat.
