2015 man of steel 2 will be superman vs batman. i love both but im a big superman fan so im backing him. who do u think and want? i know this is a strange site to post this on but hey im a nerd lol |

Purely for argument purposes Superman would win a hypothetical fight. He possess super powers, Batman just great weapons.
However, the film is going to be a slightly older Batman, a seasoned crime fighter if you will, who suddenly has this strange alien (Superman) in his town.
They lock horns, fight, realise they should combine their forces and they will become a much more formidable force, live happily ever after and grow old together fighting crime.
Well maybe not quite as Disneyfied as that, but nearly!! |

Not many comic book readers it seems.
Firstly, go read "The Dark Knight Returns". Great graphic novel, and a glimpse into how the movie is likely to be adapted and played out.
Secondly, in the DC universe, there are very few characters that have straight up beaten Superman (mostly because of plot induced stupidity). Batman however is one of them that has done so without PIS. In fact, Supes acknowledges that only Batman and Wonder Woman (in the whole JLA) are capable of taking him down should he go rogue.
With prep time, Batman would (and has) beat the snot out of Superman and almost any DC character. If it was a straight up brawl, that is different.
Finally, Supes isn't immortal and has a defined power limit. Off the top of my head, enemies like Darkseid and Mongul could kill the Man of Steel.

Batman and superman are both from the same DC comic stable and they were part of the justice league which was first published in 1960, so the concept of them being together is not a new one..... |

If it were real life it would be superman because he's an actual super human, speed, strength, he can fly etc where as batman has martial arts, and numerous devices to support him.
Having said that I'd love batman to win but it'll be a poor poor film with Ben affleck as batman, the films have just gotten really good with bale as batman,
This will ruin the franchise. |

Off hand dont know what the decay rate of kryptonite is so leaving that alone.
Nothing has been found that can penitrate Sup's skin so how does he inject it?
Solar pannels dont effect Sups at all. His skin is his own solar pannel. Manmade ones neither increase nor decrease the amount of sun he absorbs. |

Batman all the way. He's by far the coolest character and have been a fan since I was a kid.
I believe this film is a precursor to a full on justice league film so they'll end up working together at some point.
And Raj is right, Aquaman sucks. |
