Shaving oils

Just been reading another thread about the dreaded pubic hair removal, and a majority of people who said use a razor also said use shaving gel or shower gel.

My question is who uses shaving oils. I think they give a much better closer shave, and cause less skin irritation. Ir is it just me

oh and i am talking about facial hair as well as the pubic variety

I've tried some minty shaving oil but didn't like it. Mainly cos it was in a squirty bottle and when I used it, a bit splashed in my eye. It felt like someone had rammed a red hot poker in my eye.

I get really irritable and sore shaving rash, but since I started applying baby oil first I haven't had a single rash

I used to use shaving oils a lot especially Somerset oil and king of shaves however I found after a lot of regular use my skin got really greasy and spotty so I tend to use it when I do a going out shave only the rest of the time I use a good old fashioned shaving stick and brush

That's what I use now a shaving brush, dove soap and a half decent woman's razor plus moisturiser when I remember. I don't get any rash or irritation at all now.

Ive always used hair conditioner to shave with. Never had a problem and regrowth always soft.
