Just woke up to check on my little one. She has an egg on her forehead after falling over and landing clean into the corner of 2 walls.

She was quiet before bed time so just wanted to check she was ok.

Did you not think to take the egg off before she went to bed, she may turn over and break it .. lol.

Sorry, I'm being silly, have you tried a spot of lavender oil rubbed on the lump, it works wonders, firstly it helps take the swelling down, prevents bruising and helps calm the patient and aids sleep ... fantastic stuff, I'm never without it.

BTW .. Yes, I'm still awake, tried and tried to get to sleep but can't, I'm wide awake, as my bad jokes will attest .. lol

Very similar effects. Yes, I first used the lavender on my screaming 2yr old when his 9yr old brother dropped him head first onto the pavement in Scotland. He developed the Tom & Jerry egg and screamed the place down for over half an hour. I nipped into a shop and bought a bottle of lavender oil, then rubbed a tiny spot over the lump. Within 2 mins he'd stopped screaming and another 3 or 4 mins and he was asleep.

My thanks go to Mother Nature for giving us these wonderful gifts so we don't need to use so many manufactured drugs for minor ailments.

when we were novice parents, and first child was still young, she hit her head on the corner of sn ottoman we had. Big egg comes rushing ip and a trip to A&E was enjoyed. Nurses at the hospital said you don't have to worry so much when the lump comes up, it is when you don't get one and they get all sleepy and floppy that you have to worry. We have not paniced about whacks on the head since then

xxxxx
