He's just an angry man from the north.

He's neither funny nor offensive...

"Mocking Jordan/Katie Price's son for his disabilty was offensive to me."

That was in particularly bad taste.

You didn't find him mocking that little boy offensive?

"Mocking Jordan/Katie Price's son for his disabilty was offensive to me."

I didn't know he had. Peoples children, especially those with any form of disability or impairment should not be the target of any comedian.

Mocking disabled children is not comedy. It's quite frankly bullying and abuse. How come the guy still has an audience?

You tell me.Just cos you have an audience doesn't mean what you say is ok does it?Maybe they are just as nasty as he is and enjoy stuff like that. I really don't know.

This is the difference I was trying to explain in the other thread.

he can be funny and he can be a prick, he wouldnt last 10mins in many parts of glasgow if his sharp tongue went in force..

as for the types of humour?...when it involves those that cannot defend themselves then he is just a prick

ok you can be near the knuckle and totally offensive and somehow be funny... I did like him before he got personal... not now was a cheap laugh too far

Try Sean Locke... off the wall totally random... brilliantly original

Wasn't the katie price stuff a few years ago now? Yes it was offensive but I think it was dealt with at the time.

Should he be defined by one crass joke?

I find some of the stuff he says funny and some of it not just like many other comedians and people in real life too.

I think he is really funny and live a lot of his stand up but his book was the biggest pile of crap I've ever read.

If you consider the fact that it's just 'words' and it's not 'real' then like me you will find his humour to be as funny for the fact that what he says makes me roll about but also for the fact that, as this thread clearly proves, his power to offend is second to none.

I got a DVD of his a couple of years back with a gag on it about Shannon Mathews being found after being 'kidnapped' and his thought was 'Why do they only ever find the ugly ones'.

I don't know Mr Boyle but I suspect it's all an image and his fire for effect brand of humour does not reflect on him as a person or those that laugh at him it's just a very clever use of 'offence'

Arse End of the Universe, Cumbria

I don't watch him on telly much but he has a page in the Sun (it's me Mam's paper, I'm an Express reader ) and some of his stuff I find amusing. I did think that his joke about Harvey was in very poor taste and I can understand how many people were offended on the wee soul's behalf
