the butterfly effect

I.E; The butterfly effect is a common trope in fiction, especially in scenarios involving time travel. Additionally, works of fiction that involve points at which the storyline diverges during a seemingly minor event, resulting in a significantly different outcome than would have occurred without the divergence, are an example of the butterfly effect.

What would be yours? If you could change one moment in your life that would drastically change your whole life what, when and where would it have been?

The Town by The Cross

Impossible to say when there is nothing to compare it to..... There's no way of telling the outcome of the change.

So ...nothing...otherwise I wouldn't be me.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I would prefer to have a lot of lines to explore on my what ifs. Minor things but with hindsight I can see that some decisions led me in certain unexpected directions, including answering this post.

Although that is a hard thing to say as I've got my gorgeous boy now who I love more than anything but i wouldn't know he existed and it would of saved me from a few years of abuse, hassle and heartache.

You could look at it like this for example, if you'd have stayed in a lesson at school 5 minutes longer you wouldn't have bumped into your childhood sweetheart in the corridor which started conversation, friendship etc etc. That's the kind of thing I meant.

I'd change nothing. Everything that has happened in my life has made me the person I am today and I am awesome!!

Thinking about stuff like this can make you go deeper and deeper into your what ifs and make you think how such a minor thing could of changed your whole life. So simple but yet really interesting I think.

I get that....but...

Who to say you wouldnt have met someone else and had it worse? Being with your ex prevented that?

You got out of it and you moved on, no way of knowing if that would still be the case...

Have a few regrets, but change nothing...

Okay.... This is my butterfly moment then. If I wasn't logged on here answering this I would be outside catching the bloke next door peeing in his bin.....

I'd say .... 'nice cock but im telling the council unless you fuck me woefully every day for ever or until im sick of it - which ever comes sooner.

He says....' better than that! I'll fuck you and pay you for it ...... im rich enough'

I say .....'okay'

I become the worlds oldest, ugliest , besterest paid prostitute....

Pierce Morgan does my life story. Faye Weldon ghost writes my life story - it's called Lives n Loves of a She Granny.

Graham Norton, Alan Carr and Jonathon Ross fight over me to be interviewed but I spit on their trashiness ( love Graham really ) and elect to go on Newsnight and Question Time.

The Queen gives me an M.P.E . Gok Wan makes my clothes and Tracey Emin casts my fanny in concrete and mounts it outside the mersey tunnel where cars pass through unawares.....

I die.

Someone farts in Africa.

The world keeps turning.

Somewhere in North Norfolk

When the house I was buying fell through in 2000 I'd have found another one to buy.

I have no idea what effect that would have now though. It would be significantly different, that's for sure.

It could have changed my career path along with a lot of other major stuff.
