With the fact I no longer wish to meet off here as I want to date but want to stay on to chat to people I have become friendly with and also read stories and join in the forums ?

Unfortunately miss muffet its probably the same guys that can be pushy and rude to many of the ladies on here.

I'm not sure how the filters work but that sounds like a good bet.

Otherwise dont let them spoil your enjoyment of the site and your existing friendships on here.

I don't mind people messaging me , I will chat to most if they are reasonable and to be honest quite a few men have said they feel the same about dating , it's the ones who think because I am still on here it automatically means I want to have sex with them and yes they do get pushy .. my block list is getting longer lol

I am also not meeting now or any time soon has been over a year and not long come back reason being missed my friends and the banter so have left my profile blank and still get messages just ignore or filter x

I don't give gents who sent me unsolicited messages the chance to bother me as the block button is very useful.

Besides, I am not searchable and hardly get any messages, which suits me just fine.
