The gov are going to increase the price providers pay for 4g airwaves fourfold.

Expect price to rise and service to suffer. No company will invest in 4g now. They were paying circa 90 mill will now be circa 390m

O2 rolled out 4G in Leicester the other week. Many people in and around the city centre have had no service since due to problems with the masts!

That's still in discussion with no decision yet and it will affect both 3g ad 4g so its hardly likley to stop take-up in 4g. It looks like the government want more flesh of mobile networks.
