At about 1115 this evening, I went into my kitchen feeling a little peckish, hunting for some biscuits or similar just to satisfy my desire for something yummy.
Upon opening the fridge I spotted some lovely bacon and the tub of Seriously Strong cheese spread. Then I remembered that my son had brought home a nice fresh bloomer that he had baked today at college ... mmmm bacon butty with a little cheesy tang, ooh now I'm salivating, so out comes the pan to dry fry the bacon (I don't have a grill) and as I'm just putting it all together my son shouts through to me "that bacon smells lovely, can I have a butty please, oh, and can you put an egg on mine as well?".
So mine gets put on hold whilst I sort an egg out to go on what WAS my butty. All assembled with half a bottle of ketchup I hand it over and rush back to the kitchen to now restart my butty.
The addition of the egg to my son's sandwich has now prompted me to have an egg too.
With my sandwich all cooked and assembled with a reasonable squirt of ketchup I walk out of the kitchen and catch sight of the clock .. 1155, did it really take that long to make 2 sandwiches?
Sitting here eating mine, I realised that it's been a very long time since I had such a lovely midnight snack and I'm thinking I'll have to do this more often.
So, after my long narrative and hopefully making the rest of you dribble and drool, who's having what as a midnight snack tonight?

Lol was shopping in Morrisons today promo of tins of sweets people were buying trolley loads and were going out of stock they had to limit them to two per person x |

The smarties were meant to be saved and wrapped as prezzie for my nephew ..... but thought about it and decided he wouldnt like them 
So i bought him a tube of milkybar buttons instead |
