My cats do similar, or drink from manky puddles. I read that most UK water is too chlorinated for cats to like straight from the tap. Water that's been standing for a while is de-chlorinated by evaporation, and is more to their taste. The only water they drink from us, is water that's been left over from a boiled kettle and cooled. |

Mine drinks out of glasses left near the sink, then pushes them on the floor. When they've shattered, she stares at them like 'how did that happen'. I now own plastic glasses. |
