Well, it is Thursday.
Why oh why oh why, when I have told everyone at work I am on leave from tomorrow and so NEED various things sorting out before I go, is no-one replying to emails or answering their phones? I know that I am not away long enough for things to go completely tits up, but I bet I'll get a flea in my ear for not sorting things for while I am away, WHEN I AM TRYING TO!!!!!
And my bloody line manager has forgotten I am on leave again! Graaaaahhhh!!!!

Once the clock hits 3pm tomorrow I am out of there, and its tough shit. I can't take my work home with me and I'll be in another country so there's not much can be done.
I reckon there will be a little email going out at lunch tomorrow along the lines of 'I told you I was going away. Too late now!' |

BCC your boss in on your last attempt to contact the people so they can see you've tried.

Forward the emails that you had no response to back to the person and copy your boss in. Ask the person to get back to your boss in your absence.
