Would you say you are a negative person...do you look at life half full or half empty???
I've had a day of dealing with negative people and to be honest I've wanted to tell them to stop being so negative....alas I love my job so would not be wise...lol. I've also had to deal with racism that left me speechless....
I am a pretty up beat person and always see the positives in life  |

I am normally pretty positive but when my depression takes hold I become the most negative person ever I try to stop it as soon as possible as I havent much time for negative people. Like you cheeky I used to work with people who were so negative I wanted to shake them and tell them to get a grip. |

I find positivity can be contagious. Of someone is a normal amount of +ve i can be +ve. But in the same breath, i can be negative if someone else is.

I love my job daily miserable people whinge , I tell them not to be so miserable lol my fave is when they whinge about the weather declaring miserable day

Glass is always half full, and very resilient.
I have had some crap hands delt to me in the past, however, I always managed to bounce back in a short time.
Life goes on and the earth does not stop spinning because something bad/unpleasant has happened to me.
I consider myself to be very fortunate compared to those who have no clean water and do not know when they will be able to eat next.
Those closest and dearest to me all have similar outlook in life, and I do not have time for those who seem to attract or live under black clouds all the time.

I agree but there does seem to be an assumption when talking about racism it's usually whites who are assumed the perpetrators. |

I always used to say about someone I work with, who was soooo miserable, all the time, that he was never given a glass in the first place!

I always used to _iew myself as pessimistic but that is and was not an accurate portrayal at all. In fact I decided I was an optimistic pessimist: hoping for good but expecting the worse. Even that wasn't quite right, not when most people see me smiling all the time  . So one word accurately describes me: realist.
However I'm not immune to my hormones, but once they have cleared I'm bubbly again. Also there are the odd people who grate on my nerves but providing my hormones aren't into play, I rise above it after a lickle vent  . |

I usually say who gives a shit if the glass is empty or full. Just bloody drink the water and stop thinking about things you dont need to think about..just take what you have in front of you, and go for it.

I go with the glass has something in it. Whether it's half empty or half full is irrelevant as there is still the same amount of something in it.
If there is room in the glass you can fill it up some more, if the glass is full to the brim you can only empty out some of it.
I'm really negative but with a positive aura.

This last hour I have come to think it's not about whether the glass is half full or half empty thinking but that the negative don't like what they see in the glass, whatever it is. The positive just wonder what it tastes like and work to get it to taste better.

Definitely positive for me. Being around negative people drags me down. I always look for good rather than the bad in someone and believe that being positive makes you a happier person and fun to be around |

I'll go by experience. If I have had bad experience in a situation. I will always be negative until some good comes from it. Otherwise I will give anything a go.
People who know me well off this site would describe me as a positive and upbeat person until a woman comes along and feelings develop and then I am a negative person.

I find life is quite full of life. I sometimes look at the moon and think it's empty of life. I suspect Mars has some life but is nowhere near half full. Just some germs in ice. Hope this helps. |

my older sister is so negative i cant stand to be in her company.
my mum died of cancer she found out she had it 4 months before she died, then 5 years later my dad found out he had lung cancer only they said he could have a lung removed and it might give him 5 more years to live, so he said thats what he would do.
i was so happy that he might have another 5 years yet all my sister could do was moan and say how awful it was that he had to have his lung removed, and she more or less said she would rather die than be cut open.
my dad lived for another five years. |

Staying positive keeps me sane!
No point being negative. Most problems have solution or a Plan B. You're more likely to find a solution if you're positive though. |
