For those of you who change the colour of your hair, do you keep to natural tones, or dye your hair lighter/darker depending on the seasons?

IVe found the same with the red dye, but found using it as a base colour, and then getting highlights in during spring/summer and low lights autumn/winter makes the red easier to manage

I always go darker in the winter and lighten it a little in the summer.

Don't do anything drastic as I have a persona to keep up for work...

I dyed my hair for the first time a few months ago because I kept finding grey hairs.

Brought what I thought would be basically the same as my natural colour.....and it wasn't!

Got used to it now as didn't dare put on another colour.

I've just gone back to reddish/brown - well mousey brown - which is as near natural for me.

During the summer I do go lighter - base colour and highlights, but tend to go darker again when winter appears.

Over the rainbow, under the bridge

I just dye it back to my original blonde - I've gone darker as I've gotten older to a blonde/brown (with the odd bit of grey). My eyebrows and all other body hair remains blonde.
