I've played in a few bands, guitar and keys.
I know there are other musos on here. What do you play ? Maybe we could get a FAB band together to play at socials and orgies
And just to anticipate the responses I'm sure there are loads of you who are expert at playing the pink oboe etc |

Playing guitar since 1994, playing the keyboard on and off since about 1990, playing the bass since 2004.
And no, I dont want none of that shit. Providing the soundtrack to somebody else's orgy while I miss out. |

I've been playing guitar since I was 6 (31yrs), I also play drums, bass and piano.
I currently play in a few bands ranging from Jazz, classic rock, punk and metal.
I'm always looking to join a new band... |

If you have been in your area for many years I used to play in a rock/metal band around there in the early 90's quite frequently, who were relatively well known...but depends on if you were into that style of music as to whether or not you may have heard of us. We used to rehearse in Brighton Hill School and played at a venue called Premiers which later became Cozy's...now long since gone....We used to arrange day festivals for rock bands in the south in that venue. Message me for details of band if intereted. Wont post in the forum. |

"I'm a really shit guitarist of about 7 years standing!
Try sitting down!... "
That is sitting down, I'm even worse standing up...how Page and Steve Clarke play(ed) the way they do is beyond me. I get Carpal Tunnel Syndrome just watching them! |

Lol
I play with my guitar at different heights (on the strap) depending on what I'm playing. If a song involves sweep picking then I generally play with it a little higher so my wrist isn't so cranked over.
It just doesn't look quite as cool... |

Nothing looks as cool as Page with his guitar round by his ankles!
My mates band has a ton of songs with sweep picking and both guitarists play with the guitar high up. |

It takes a ton of co-ordination to pull it off cleanly. Check out some of Dan Mumm on YouTube, the bloke makes me want to vomit he's so good! |
