I had my card declined in one of those cheapie 99p stores. An enormous queue formed as they spent ages trying to phone my bank. The shame. Turned out my had been cloned so had been cancelled for a good reason but the looks of pity I received still haunt me. |

My daughter was at a festival in Spain the other year and had her purse stolen, I had to cancel it from here, it was soo easy for me to do have it cancelled |

they will give you cash over the counter. Well mine does anyway
"
My bank now makes cards on site - if you lose yours you just go into one of the bigger branches with ID and walk out with a new one! |

It's not a secret Ben - I only know as I saw a TV ad for it the other night - the one where the dad id shopping for his kids birthday and it all goes tits up cos he's lost his card!

All my cards had the same pin. My friend asked if I were an eejit and told me to change them...if only I could have remembered what pin went with what.
Don't know if I got pitying glances or not: couldn't get out of Sainsbury's fast enough and certainly didn't look back!!!  |
