Why assume honesty on a profile?

I ask from having seen so many questioning or demanding honesty.
Why assume the person / profile is up front?
I always take everything with a pinch of salt...works for me, and I play accordingly!....and yes before you ask, everyone I have met from here in 4 years has had a straight profile.
I just wonder about this and why people rant without using their heads ( on their skull )

because a profile is SUPOOSED to represent you, as a person, and a play date, so if it turns out to be false then we wouldnt be too happy.
we take everything on face value, until proven wrong.
touch wood we havent been proven to be too naive as of yet, but there is still time lol
V, however is VERY good at assessing people by just seeing them though |

I take note of what is important to me and the rest is taken with a pinch of salt
Im not about to make someone have a lie detector before I play with them all night,im not marrying them! I just want them on a temporary basis |

You mean I'm not allowed to tie them to a chair and threaten them with electric shocks until they tell me the truth , dam back to the drawing board |

Yup, I just believe in 'innocent until proven guilty' even though sadly, people often are. Call me naive, but I'd rather be that than bitter and cynical as some people get when they assume the opposite. |

Well I have gone to great lengths to keep mine really accurate , he says tongue in cheek ! Dont want to be pulled up by the trading standards now do we ! |

Tbh, i take every gals profile (well, the ones that interest me anyway) at face value until its proven otherwise. After all, if we think all the profiles are false, we wouldn't get anywhere on here! |

lol, I assume all false until I get face picture, or contact to confirm meet, if no contact by specified time I don't bother with them after that  |

90% of profiles have untruths on them even if it is the name age or location does it really matter though you talk to the person. Anyone who assumes everything is or should be true on a profile is gullible at best. |
