I recently joined a dating site, one with questions rather than fish, and have been very honest about what I'm looking for in a man and relationship.
So last night I was sitting on said questions site and messaging a guy who I thought was all kinds of nommy! We got talking and then the unthinkable happened....He sent me the "I know you" message, and I sent him the same in return.
We were at school together, although he's a few years older than me. We are going for a drink on Saturday.
But yeah, that awkward, "I know you" message made my heart drop! Haha |

I had that happen to me on here. A woman I was messaging was only living down the road and a friend of my ex, and also had kids in same school as mine and we had chatted in playground picking up kids hundreds of times. Agreed to meet as we were both on here for the same thing, and she turned into a FB for a while |

I joined a dating site about 8 months after I had split from my ex husband. I got a call off him 3 weeks later saying he had received and email from the site saying "there is a new hottie in your area" and it was me. ha ha, i was flattered  |

I've seen countless work colleagues on POF. At first I'd get awkward then figured "pfft we both on it for the same reason" now I send a quick hey wont mention it message to calm a potential situation.
Once you see their profile, they know you've seen it. |

I ran into an old mate the other day and he said he was dating the manager of a Weatherspoons.
He said it like it was a fucking job.
I've seen her and she is fit. 
I guess my point is, shit could be worse for him. |

Well kind of got together on POF. We knew each other firstly from being neighbours a long time ago, then both our ex's started seeing each other and split up and we both got back with then (then split up again).
We both always thought we wernt each other's type and also if we did hook up it would just look like we were doing it to piss our ex's off. Anyway, we just got chatting in POF, ended up just getting together as mates for a few drinks and a laugh, realised we actually got on a fancied each other, the rest is history. |

Some men still feel threatened by woman in authority, we're not far off from the old sexist days but better off for it. Woman have a lot to offer in the workplace, when they stop chatting that is!  |
