I can remember all the words to a song i've not heard in thirty odd years, but cannot for the life of me remember why I went from one room to another?

Song words are associated with melody, rhythm and interpretation.... By the time you've absorbed all that, youll be a long time forgetting it...

My memory is so odd... I can remember some things word for word... Yet forget things to the degree I would swear I haven't done it lol .x

Apparently it's going through doorways that wipes our short term memory. They did a test on the one show I think

I find when things are going slow my memory thinks it's on holiday. but when things get busy, i can remember the smallest details. Why's that?
