So im new to all this
Anyway long story short got chatting to a cple exchanged numbers but now conviently the female cant chat as ill!!!!
Why do pple do that ffs |

Because they think it's a better way to get meets as opposed to being a single male it's annoying as hell but once you settle in and get used to things you will be able to quickly and easily tell the difference between these type of "couples" and actual couples |

Try to speak to verified in person only couples and look at the verifications to see mentions of both of them.
Also first thing to insist on is the a fem to fem convo on the phone, before exchanging numbers and if there are a million excuses as to why they can't then block and move on. |

I agree it is annoying when this happens, but believe me it isn't exclusive to men. There have been plenty of similar threads stating that "single" women will only meet with their (partner, hubby, FB, FWB, insert as applicable) on the Fab forums too.
The simple answer is if you come across a profile that states they are a couple but in effect is just a single person, or a single person whom only meets as a couple, then report to admin and leave it to them to either change the persons status or to sort it out as appropriate.

not to jump to anyones defence, cuz i dont know who messed you around, but we have the same problem.
i (mr) am usually the one on here, answering messages and so on, because she hasnt the facility to be on here very often (doesnt like logging on here on a computer the swith her kids).
she lives in a different country, so an instant phonecall isnt possible
we get to se each other every 2 weeks, so camming straight away ist always possible
so its not a case of we always pretend to be a couple, because there are plenty that are actual couples, its just not always possible to be at peoples beckoned call with immediate effect. |

Thats what was so annoying i insisted on a chat fem to fem they agreed then the whole oh shes ill or shopping or busy started once numbers were exchanged.
But good to know im not the only one experiencing it

We get this a lot and there's even some couples who have been verified that are not real,they won't exchange numbers the other excuses are my hubby likes to meet the couple first then gos bk to tell he's wife if we suit them both and just last night we had a couple where the gf was ment be a sleep but the guy wanted Skype with us so he could tell her about it in the morning  look for good feedback and more than one pic |

We met a couple last night that have had a similar set up for the few months they've been on the site. They were honest from the start that they would be living apart until October and because they were upfront we weren't suspicious at all. Had he not told us at the start I think we would have got suspicious.
It also helped that in the 3 months we've been chatting he never once suggested meeting alone or did anything to suggest he was looking for wank fodder! |

like we said good feedback and more than one pic helps if u are not going to swap numbers but we don't meet anyone or less the females from each couple spoke on the phone but everyone is different but is easier on a phone as anyone can be behind a screen |

must say, as soon as anyone asks about meeting or anything i immediately tell people its not going to be possible until we are together.
most walk away, and tbh im fine with that as my relationship with V is much more important than anything we would get from off here.
its just very anoying that everyone that isnt the 'conventional couples' on here gets lambasted and dismissed as time wasting fakes.
we have been in this situation for 3 years, and believe me, having to wait a week until you can have a couple on a cam or a fem to fem phone call, is small beans compared to only seeing the person you love for 3 days every 2 weeks! |

Wow its got heavy in here lol
I was referring to a couple whos profile stated a couple and i spoke to from the day i joined then i swapped numbers he said she was ill and unable to meet or talk but he could hence why be fake?
He would surely be better off just saying his alone player just why pretend  |

There are so many reasons some involve shyness, others not really looking to meet and more when its not a couple. The key is early phone calls and even then nothing is set in stone so chalk it off to experience and block and move on.  |

Take your pick lots of other reasons as well.
it's a pointless exercise but single women do it as well. On the day of a meet I was told by the way it has to be bareback and my hubby has to join in. |

Some people are so deluded that they actually believe their own lies in the end and would even turn the situation around, to make the innocent duped swinger,feel like they're the timewasters and liars. They will go to extreme lengths and have some serious issues going on inside their sad minds. Best just to move on not become bitter but just that little bit wiser. |

We often have been accused of being fake because we won't give out our phone number to all who ask.
Only people who get our number are those we have confirmed a date to meet with and then it's usually the day or so before. |

I don't like the fem to fem convo on the phone thing that seems to happen, everytime it has been brought up with us it a has been:
"Let's let the girls talk on the phone and the guys can organise the meet".
This seems pretty misogynistic to me. Why can't I do the organising? After all I am the half of us who suggested this lifestyle. I don't like talking on the phone at the best of times but always happy to cam.
But yeah I agree with the OP this is so frustrating. I wish every would just be as honest as we are. |
