They collect an immense amount, Some is never checked (or kept for later) the bulk is automatically scanned, some thrown up as important.
When you are collecting raw data you do have to sort it through.
Shopping lists are of great interest. |

Apparently the system looks for certain combinations of key words. The key words being ones identified by secret services as having a terrorist or espionage purpose. The words "plant and bomb" in a text or email may flag up but if GCHQ know what the code words for bomb and plant is then it gets flagged up
Got this from a old friend who 13 years ago told me about these unmanned planes that can be used to patrol and attack targets; what we now know as drones |
