since it is going up from 1 to 2 pounds... are you more/less likely to play, or not change at all...
the prize for 3 numbers will go up from 10 pounds to 25 pounds.... |

The odds remain exactly the same.
Think most have given up on the dream they sold in 94, and realised how little chance they actually have.
14,000,000/1 would have the bookmakers rolling about laughing at those odds on a horse. |

I deposit £10 every now and then into my online account, and I mean about every 2-3 months. I win the odd tenner here and there which keeps my account going without having to add to funds. Under the new rules, if I win 3 number tickets as often as I have, I might just be able to draw some out instead of using as cash flow on the site. |

We don't play anymore after not even winning ten pounds after prob spending thousands. Still do the odd euro but only when we remember. See it as a tax on stupid. And yes I'm stupid. I wander how much I would have if I invested the money instead |

Its an idiot tax, nothing more, nothing less.
If camelot were a bookies they'd have been shut down for racketeering!
Wonga get lambasted over charging idiots £100's in interest when they know full well what they are paying for yet the lottery rob idiots blind in the vaguest hope of winning millions and its all ok? |

"Less likely.
Oh , and we ought to sue over the "lucky dip" under the trades descriptions act !.
Lucky my arse !!!!! "
We use "lucky" hoping it means "good lucky" but it could just as easily be "bad lucky". |

Take all the people that have won millions and put them next to all the people that have bought one or many more tickets, not the same amount is it? The fraction that have won are lucky yes, the masses that haven't and continue to 'play' it are fooling only themselves. Better odds of becomming an astronaut and going to the moon, which, if you did, would enable you to earn millions anyway.!
Don't let me stop you plugging away with your £2 a go ticket each week, say weds and sat? You do that and I'll take my £4 a week and put it in a piggy bank. I'll be the one with £208 at the end of the year, versus your millions? Mmmm |

But, those people wouldn't have won those millions if they had put their pound in a piggy bank, would they? And, if i wanted to be an astronaut, i'd apply for the job. If i didn't, i wouldn't! |
