...just broke
Samsung Galaxy Ace, only had it since Christmas, treated with the utmost care.
Now back to the ever-faithful Nokia Brick with the tiny screen.
What's your best, longest lasting phone and what was your worst? |

"Nokia you could drop it and treat it like crap and it still remained faithful "

My Galaxy S3 is doing pretty well.. 10 months and counting.
Before that would be Sony Ericsson Xperia, 18 months that lasted before Mr dropped it on a tiled floor.
I'm pretty clumsy so anything more than 6 months is worth a gold star.

Nokia 6230. I still own this and is the phone I always fall back on if my current one breaks or I'm going abroad to places where I don't want to risk losing or damaging my current phone. It is very basic but never misses a beat. Still has the original battery even.
Worst phone was a Samsung Omnia I900. It was just a horrible phone to use. |

I don't think I have ever broke a phone
I had one break on me where it would turn off if there was a SIM card in it. Returned it to HTC who were a crock of shot and lost it so they replaced it with a newer model. |

Ironically the Galaxy Ace was one of my best phones ever
Tough enough for me and being used by kids ...
But I always buy a silicon skin and screen protector for my smart phones ![](/icons/thumb_up.png) |

I started mobile life with a simple Nokia that didn't take pictures or anything but it did have a little knob on the top, (antenna?) and even out in The Sticks and indoors(!) I had reception. Bloody brilliant. Since the knobs were scrapped in general, lots of folk are struggling now - standing on chairs waving phones at sky lights to send/receive messages etc. Absolutely preposterous in this day and age. ![](/icons/s/2/idea.gif) |

I had Nokia for years just kept updated to the newest when I was allowed. I finally gave in and got iPhone 4 two years ago and managed to avoid dropping it until 2 weeks before upgrade smashing the screen. It still worked though ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |
