An oxymoron if ever there was one

Now spent two hours over the last week trying to get as PAYG phone changed to monthly contract

must have spoken to 7 people already and promised that the problem would be resolved but nothing done so far and the promised call backs to keep me updated never occurred

Anyone else had experience of Virgin like this or am I just unlucky

When it works its great but like you when theres a problem it takes a hell of a long tine to for them to sort it...last time i had an issue i told them if it wasnt fixed with 24 hours i would gp to another network.....it was sorted within an hour

Yes we had a very similar experience to you in what should have been a relatively easy fix. From now on I intend to steer clear of any company that uses foreign call centres. And that's just what they are, call centres and not customer service. !!

They actually have a name for this type of business model, Its called Churning, whereby dissatisfied customers move from one supplier to another with only a small number of new customers entering the pool.

They know that the numbers of customers who move to other suppliers because of their own crap service will be made up with new customers who moved to them because their old supplier was crap too.

Worst company I have ever dealt with.Useless,absolutely useless. Got my compensation for both their shit trains and broadband "service". Then left.Still their tax dodging boss doesn't set much of an example does he? Prick.
