Glastonbury 2014

Who is getting up (earlyish) on Sunday to try and buy tickets for Glastonbury 2014.

I will be sat in front of my PC hitting F5 in the hope of securing tickets for next year.

If you want to travel by coach, 15000 tickets go on sale tomorrow (Thursday) evening.

For those who may try for both if you buy a coach ticket and then are successful on Sunday with the same registration number one or both of your tickets may get cancelled...

Good luck if you are trying for tickets and we'll hopefully will be sat in a sunny field in Somerset getting wasted at the end of June next year...

never seen the interest of standing in a field, with people you woulnt ordinarily mix with, to hear a band through a terrible sound system, and get wet/hungry/ill/tired/bored/d*unk/stoned etc... or am i missing the point of festivals? lol

You are...

I used to think like that until I thought in 2007, I'll give it a go, I've been back every year it's been on since. Glastonbury is one of the best festivals and is not comparable with the likes of reading and leeds etc. This was posted a few months ago by someone who went last year for the first time and sort of sums it up.

It was the first time I have been and I have heard so many great things about that place and how everyone is so friendly

Guys honestly its like another world there is no aggression no egos everyone is so happy and helpful and polite . It really does restore your faith in humanity . It really has made me open my mind to what the world could be like If everyone was as they are at Glastonbury .

Please please please if you have never been make an effort to go next year . It's honestly like Being on another planet it's just amazing .

Now for a lovely sleep .

Peace and love xx

not for me.

way too commercial and can think of much better ways to spend my hard earned.

live just down the road from weston, so could easily go to V festival, but i just see it as getting in my way whilst im working lol.

makes the roads around here a pain in the arse.

Not being an aficionado of such events, I was surprised (to say the least) to discover that the line-up hasn't been confirmed for 2014 yet.

Does that suggest Glastonbury is less about the music and more about having been there?

BTW, T in the Park has been about 'being there' for years.

Is this where you have to watch on giant tv screens? Prefer a band playing in a small venue to be honest.

We have been to Rewind the last 2 years, and have bought tickets for next year. It's an 80's festival and so chilled!! Even bumped into some guys from here this year!!

Rewind is the same weekend as V.. Always makes us giggle driving up the M54 looking at the miles of queues heading in

There are sure to be a few of us at Glasto again this year...and an attempt to meet at a central place.

So let's start earlier this year, perhaps, and get a cunning plan together?

Although maybe, just maybe in january, I might be over excited already and getting ahead of myself...?

Possibly!

Dolly Parton's a big rumour at the moment though, so my wife and daughters are getting excited!

We'll be there during set up too. Easier to meet then too, less to sEe and going on! Going to be awesome either way.

It'll be even more awesome if the rumours AREN'T true and Kasabian aren't headlining on Sunday night!
