Just wanted to say, good luck to those doing it this year. I did it last year, and the support the NHS gives is great.

Just bought an e-cig today, tried ones before and didnt get along with them after about a month but we'll see if I do any better this time!

I've been smoke free for 3.5 years now.

Good luck to anyone doing it! I'm gonna stop eating crisps for a month. I think I'll find that harder than quitting smoking lol x

Im now 24 hours in with no replacement being ill and not having the energy to smoke and no voice to shout has helped

I can just about understand the addictive nature of smoking but I fail to understand how a parent can deliberately indulge in any activity likely to deprive a child of one or other of its parents.

people who dont smoke still get ill and die though, my old doctor used to smoke and was a heavy drinker and is still alive and in his seventies, just good luck maybe?

Lost my mum a year n half ago. Because she was a smoker from 27 to 77.

It kills!!!

I had to read post mortem notes, knowing my mum was taken apart like a jigsaw and put together again, if only she never smoked.....

If not for you. Give up for your kids, grandkids.
