I have a different 'shit film' conundrum.
I can be finding a film really shit but at the end I find out it's based on true life events and suddenly it seems quite good. |

Fuck knows.
Prometheus. - I wanted to leave halfway through the film but forced myself to stay thinking "It'll get better. It'll get better"...
It didn't.
2 hours of my life I'll never get back.

"why is it even if you are watching a shit film you still ave to watch it till the end.
Slither has to be the worst film i have ever seen......ever!!!!"
I sat up and watched a pretty crap Kevin Costner film a while back. Like you say, it left me thinking that's two hours of my life I will always regret wasting. |

You had to watch Slither to the end because Nathan Fillion is awesome (the sheriff). And Michael Rooker is also awesome (the cheating husband/alien). As is Gregg Henry (the town Mayor). As is Elizabeth Banks (the blonde).
Any argument will be met by my sleeping.
Oh fuck that's what I'm supposed to be doing...

Sorry, you are wrong...great film.
Why is it, as I've decided to go to bed, I turn on the kitchen telly, bump into some random, unheard of film that grabs my feeble brain and makes me lean on the worktop for 90 minutes, begging it to get better and only succeed in making me knackered the next day! |

I quite like Slither too. It's a proper B-movie and doesn't take itself seriously at all. The soundtrack is also pretty good, especially the track by The Yahoo's at the end.
Another great, yet incredibly bad movie is Iron Sky, its awful yet absolutely brilliant at the same time! |

I liked The Green Mile, but it could've done without the pointless chunk at the beginning and end, which detracted from the meat of the story. |

The maker of Slither also made Super which i think is fantastically twisted but other people arent impressed. He's also doing Guardians of the Galaxy next. |

"some film about a bloke in a coffin buried alive. He never even gets rescued!"
Buried. I thought 'it can't be a bad film, perving at Ryan Reynolds for 90 minutes.' Got no idea how it ended turned it off after 20 minites!! Think that was the last film I turned off without finishing. |

Another vote for Zardos.
Some films are so bad they are truly funny. Plan 9 From Outer Space, B Movie, was bad, among other things, being in black and white, it was mostly supposed to happen at night, scenes shot in daylight were supposed to be put through an optical process to make them look night time - they forgot. flashes from daytime to night time and so on. |

It's actually quite a good film. I like watching it. Obviously not historically true (although the book is based on, is a great account of the civil war), but a good watch none the less. |

Batman - The Dark Knight Rises.
I got to the point where I no longer cared who lived or died.
You know a film is pants when you get up to make a cup of tea and don't bother to pause it. |

Oh. And on other one ... Expendables 2. No story. No start or end. It was like a collection of cutting room floor shots poddled together.
The original Avengers movie with Uma Thurman in (nuff said) and Bright Lights, Big City with Michael J Fox....oh. and There Will Be Blood .... oh...and here's another ...... |

"Green street was complete shit. Charlie Hunnam's cockney accent was the worst since Dick van Dykes in Mary Poppins!
Anything with Danny Dyer in is shit by default!"
Have you seen borstal boy ? Danny Dyer is very good in it and it's a great film. It's nothing like the title suggests either. |

"Biker boys, Torque.
Pain & Gain, for a true story i thought it was crap.
Correct on all three!
Mark Kermode had a full blown rant about the latter .. So it really must've been bad ..."
Mark Kermode is a brilliant critic, how he didn't get the Film xxxx after Barry Norman is crazy.
Claudia Winkleman is pretty good though, very easy on the eye too, which ain't a bad thing. |

He's brilliant on stage, but why is it that any film with Eddie Izzard in it is automatically crud - even if, which is normally the case, he's good in it. Somehow he's the albatross on the ship. |

I was going to give Pain & Gain a chance. Still will, but I had reservations with it being Michael Bay. That man lives in a fucked up daydream and god knows how he gets so much film funding |
