Can't choose which one of the Treme actors gets my vote.

"Hilda Ogden "

I'm not really a Corrie watcher these days but Jean Alexander as Hilda Ogden was fantastic. A superbly written character brought to life by a wonderful actress. Not forgetting Bernard Yuens who played a wonderful foil for her as Stan.

Jack Regan. "Your nicked" and "we're the Sweeney and we haven't had our breakfast"

Three great characters played by the best of British actors.

The Sheriff of Nottingham (Nikolas Grace) in Robin of Sherwood, because he is totally off his rocker in the most dramatic way.

Dr Gregory House - I remember him diagnosing a woman it went something like "You have a parasite growing inside you, it will take first prority on all your energy and repay you by making you fat, sick and tired. Eventually it will leave your body, when it chooses, in an extremely painful way. You will however name it and grow to love it" she was pregnant! Classic
