Many years ago, having left school three years previously, i was on holiday with my ex gf. We were staying on a caravan site and we in the clubhouse during the evening. I got talking to this chap and it turned out he was a school governor from my old school. I had a few drinks down me by that stage and started complaining about some of my former teachers. I singled one out for particular verbal abuse, stating what an old cow she was, how she had made kids lives a misery etc. Then i started saying what a greasy, ugly old hag she was(i was young and d*unk at the time, and certainly wouldn't comment on someones appearance now i would add). I said some poor sod actually married her. He replies, 'yes, i married her'. No amount of back tracking could get me out of that one. So, who has had some 'please ground open up and swallow me' moments? |
