Just 'cos something doesn't say it can be microwaved doesn't mean it can't be - but put it in a microwaveable container first.

Just because it says 'dry clean only', doesn't always mean it can't be gently hand washed at a low temperature

My cat has a label that says just that. So are you telling me its perfectly safe to ignore that and go ahead.

I'm not sure? Should I wash it before I microwave it? The instructions aren't really very clear

I have washed a cat before, when it arrived from a rescue centre and infested with fleas. It was an experience neither of us wished to repeat

Me!!! But it was an old microwave we were chucking away - used an extension cord and microwaved a tin of beans at the bottom of the garden. It took about 15 mins but the results were spectacular
