An engineer (ex-NASA project director) has what would seem to be the near perfect solution
for airport security!
Here's a solution to all the controversy over full-body scanners at the airports. Have a booth
you step into. It will not X-ray you, it will not rub you down but, it will detonate any explosive
device you may have on you.
This is surely a win-win for everyone, and there would be none of this crap about racial
profiling etc, etc, etc. This device would eliminate a long and expensive trial with swift Justice.

Toungue wedged very firmly in cheek this is a brilliant idea. In reality it won`t work because some of the stuff is mixed together on the plane.
But I can see where you`re coming from! |

It said in the papers yesterday that two people have been banned from their flights for refusing to be scanned......
methinks they probably wish they had gone throught the scanner rather than have to put up with the "intimate" search that they no doubt would have been subject to after lol!!!
I am just wondering, was it perhaps a stunt by people from some "privacy" group to test the rules and make a statement?

It's not compulsory to fly, so no need for those who don't want to be scanned to be scanned...
If they want to fly safer, then scan it is. Can anyone remember when the luggage scanners were first bought in, all the stories about battery toys showing up and other potentially embarrassing items being shown up  |
