Ah now then, I need your help - there is a track by Focus which contains a rendition of a thunderstorm in it with a jet airplane going over half way through, do you know which track it is, it's driving me NUTS!? I thought Focus 3, but I cannot find it on utube.

Oh and the riff has to be Heartbreaker - unless I can have the baseline from Ramble On - trips my trigger every time!

No, I'm sure it was Focus - it was a very long electronic instrumental track anyway.

The track I mentioned has lyrics in it so I guess it's not the one you're looking for....it's the only one I can recall with a storm as part of the intro.

Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac are one of my all time favourite bands.

Hunt YouTube and find "Need Your Love So Bad", its simply beautiful. Gary Moore did a cover of it too (using the same guitar as Green, long story for guitar nerds) which was equally wonderful.

Anyway, back to riffs...

Shadow Play-Rory Gallagher

Brute Force and Ignorance-Rory Gallagher

Hot for Teacher-Van Halen

Oh Wild One-Gary Moore (although he never recorded a studio version of it before he died).

Anyway mine is Rhiannon which was written by Stevie Nicks but I guess the guitar riff was written by Lindsey Buckingham.
