"Fried egg, homemade chips & beans with 2 slices of bread & butter.
Bubble'n'squeak with sausages.
Ya gotta love cheap'n'cheerful food "

school dinner sausage,chips and beans. My mum wasn't a great cook |

Or still one of my favourites, pitta breads with melted cheese inside (done under a grill so it toasts - microwaves are hopeless) |

Never had waffles when I was a kid
Ma mam died when I was 6 so ma dad did his best. To be fair he wasn't a bad cook apart from his dumplings which Admiral Nelson could have utilized in the Battle of Trafalgar or his pastry which could have tested even the most sturdy of pneumatic drills |

Love eggy bread. Mam used to get uncut bread cut a thick slice cut a square out of the middle and put an egg in it fry it on both sides. Mmmm fond memories.
Pitta bread if you've not got any poppadoms cut into small triangles and quick fry with a curry delicious. Mmm. |
