Does it bother you if a potential partner (and by that I mean someone you would like to be in a relationship with) has had sex with alot people and what number would you class as 'alot' xx |

It would bother me,yes. I'd not feel comfortable if the woman had had more partners than me. I guess its just some sort of insecurity on my part though. |

I don't know if there is an equation for "a lot" but I guess time scale has to come into it. 200 partners over 40 years is what 5 a year is that worse or better than 100 in 10 years or 50 in 5 months? Personally I think there are a lot more important issues in a relationship than the no of times your genitals have been in contact with someone else's but thats me. |

I wasn't thinking of the potential relationship coming from here necessarily but I hate the idea that anyone on here would be bothered about an 'acceptable' number.
I have had men in the past tell me that because I had had sex with more than 20 men (over 12 years) they couldn't continue the relationship as that was too many. Only one had a number lower than mine. |

But it's about attitude: why so many partners? Some people sleep around because they have no respect or consideration for the opposite sex. Others (like most of us) as a voyage of discovery, new experience and mutual pleasure. |

Unfortunately I've found to my cost in the past that it is better to be dishonest about the amount of sexual partners you have had. It only gets thrown back in your face. Men seem to be very insecure about it. All from my personal experience obviously |

Not at all. There was a quite big difference between us when we got together. Not that we knew till much later on. It's not an issue for us at all x |
