Did you know what you wanted to be when you grew up? Astronaut? Train driver? Princess?
Did your dreams come true?
I still don't know what I want to be. |

Basketball player and an astronaut. Both died out by the time I was 14. Since then I was more realistic and all I wanted was a job with a decent wage that I could live on. |

I used to watch Concorde flying over the garden when I was a young child and I knew exactly what I wanted to do.
Went for it - still doing it today and still love it

Wanted to be a pilot.
Ended up working in IT and as a photographer for 30 years.
Now a full time student (and semi-pro photographer to make a bit of cash on the side) doing an Access Course, hopefully followed by a Criminology/Psychology Degree, then it's off to the Probation Service!

I remember one of the times I was really told off by a junior school teacher.
We were all cross legged on the floor because chairs were too good for us in the library and the teacher asked everybody what they wanted to be.
One said policeman, another said fireman, another repeated policeman, another repeated fireman, another said ambulance man, soldier and so on. Anything in a role of being super-useful or authoritarian.
I was at the end of the line and when she asked me what i wanted to be, I said:
A SHEEP!
...always ahead of my time
But no I was going to be a writer and here I am. |

I wanted to be an Undertaker, but I was told it was a dead end job,
Now, at 61 it is rather worrying if I will ever grow up , I hope not as I enjoy life being silly. |
