Im a oldie,I did'nt slink back in pretending to be a newbie though,I got back in touch with old friends and other people found me....nothing sneaky about it,I would'nt have thought that people would have given a shit anyway,I know I don't take that much notice of other peoples comings and goings apart from good friends
......anyway the newbie question,from a swinging perspective I would say you're no longer a newbie when you feel comfortable with the site,when you have a good clear idea of what you want and how to go about getting it,when you are happy to get out and meet people and understand that the internet is one mad strange place where its not all as it seems and that a good sense of humour is required at all times |

I assume that you are referring to this site and not the swining scene when you say 'newbie' so with this in mind here is what I think. Once you have created a profile and been live for a week, which is when you can start interacting with others on forums or in chats is in my opinion when you are no longer a newbie (as in new on site)!
It takes time to understand how the site works, know what people look for in profiles and provide advice to other newcomers, not break forums rules and therefore stay away from the naughty steps, get verified by meet/cam etc...
This is an excellent question!
