I recently watched the David Lynch film Eraserhead after reading some favourable re_iews. To say that the film is ambigious would be an understatement. So, has anyone seen it and do you think David Lynch is one overrated guy or is the film a masterpiece as some people would make out? |

It was essentially his graduation film- so not bad going. Disturbing, yes. Ambiguous, - to some extent, yes, but then it's an art film, made by an art student. It doesn't follow a "hollywood formula", true, but it's not pretentious. |

I love Eraserhead, it's one of those films I can go back to every couple of years and it always feels fresh and weird. Not Lynch's masterpiece though.. that'd have to be Blue Velvet. Or maybe Lost Highway. Anything but Dune, really |

I won't lie, i didn't understand eraserhead, i had to look up online re_iews to try and make sense of it. But then i read somewhere that after all these years no one has come close to explaining its meaning, and that is from david lynch himself. On the plus side the lady in the radiator was a highlight for me,lol |
