Eye eye

Those of you that met me sat night know about the state of my eye , well this morning I'm in a bit of a dilemma. After cleaning and managing to get my eye open I can now see a white spot that is leaking gunk... So of I head to google see what I can find out. Long and short of it is there are so many things it could be and most of them won't benefit from anything other than what I'm doing. So now do I look like a complete pratt and go hospital get it checked (I didn't know my eye was going to go bad 2 weeks ago otherwise I would have booked Drs) or continue what I'm doing.

Oh the perils of google

Just go to the docs. You're not going to pull at the docs, and guess what!!? They'll probably know what it is!! Funny that

Nottingham/and everywhere my location says i am ;)

Most hospitals now have an eye emergency department.. Get ya sell of there ASAP..

Even if its just conjunctivas at least you'll see someone who specialises in it..

I thought I had, turns out I had sinutis and the goop had gotten infected. Swelled my eye.. to be very careful as the optic nerve is straight to the brain..

Hospital for you

Good luck

Angus & Findhorn

I go to the eye clinic every 6 months and there are always emergency appointments coming in. I would go to A&E as more than likely your GP will refer you there.

Saves time and gets the treatment started quicker

Don't forget to tell them that it has been shut for a whole weekend too.

As for Fireman Sam - I distinctly remember you with some sort of hose in your hand.

Back again from hospital. It's been cut and squeezed. Got antibiotics and have to go back next week as there is a small chance I may need an op.

I really wish someone had been with me to video him popping it

Did they say it was a bite or something else?

I hope the antibiotics work for you. Get some yoghurt and Bio Activ in too.

Did you meet one of those men that likes to lick eyes? I had one like that once but I stopped him on the basis he might cause an eye infection (and I'd find it yucky).
