This sounds like a terrible cliché and when I'm less tired I'll look back on it and cringe, my bus driver is lovely, I used to get on his bus quite a lot but less and less recently and it's been months since I've seen him until now, im wondering whether to give him my number before I get off, or not, don't wanna risk making an idiot of myself

I had the bit of paper with my number on all ready in my hand ready to give to him and I bottled it! I'm thirty fecking years old what's wrong with me lol |

Next time your on his bus , as your getting off , show a little panic and say to him I can't find my phone yet I had it a couple of minutes ago. Then ask if he would call it for you , hey presto   |

You know you can't do it during rush hour - the other passengers will lynch you! You can't go back to the driver when leaving the bus when it's busy.
Have the number ready with something like 'open after work' and hand it to him as you tap in. |

Hehe, I walked around with my number in my pocket for weeks once not wanting to make an idiot of myself. In the end I managed to find the right moment and the guy was gobsmacked and flattered and said 'Wow, thank you!!'
