Hey

I've just been having a clear out and found some retro Rainbow DVD's.

Zippy, George or Bungle.

Who's best and why...?

It's gotta be Zippy

He's been my role model for the last 37 years

"Do you think rod, Jane and Freddie ever had a 3sum?"

Talking of jane when my daughter was kid she was into rainbow and i wrote to itv see if they had any merchandise etc.

Day of daughters birthday jane rang and spoke to her. A very nice touch and 25years later daughter talks about it.

Nobody seems to like bungle, lol. He did look a bit scary though, i thought he may be related to chewbacca when i was a kid.

My Sister took me to see 'Rainbow Live' at the Floral Pavilion, New Brighton, about five years ago.

It wasn't the original Geoffrey but I got to meet Zippy after the show.

My Sister said that she's never been so embarrassed but my Nephew (who was seven at the time) was well impressed

Somebody told me that Bungle beat up at motorist in a 'road rage' attack somewhere on the M25...?

I'm not sure how true it is...?

Have met the guy who wore the bungle costume. He told me that they often had threesomes. Apparently all sorts happened when off the set.

If you like that then check out 'Rainbow Top Gear' on YouTube too

Zippy, George and Bungle 're-make' their own Top Gear

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I don't have a best - they worked as a threesome. I liked Bungle as he was curious, George because he was kind and Zippy because he had no internal censor.

Zippy is a mouthy git, all gob but no action, can't stand him.

Bungle is an effeminate wimpy git and arse licks Geoffrey all the time. No backbone to him.

George is quiet and is overlooked a lot of the time. Get rid of the arse licker and gob almighty and you'll be surprised at what George has to offer
