Thoughts?
I don't think we will ever find the truth,
But for me, what we do as a younger person is not who we are now, the dilemma is that a poor girl died and it can't be explained in court terms |

think she was involved in someway but no matter what the waters have been successfully mudied enough to get her home to the good old US of A !
One wonders what would of been the outcome had she been a poor fat ugly black girl ?would there have been such a clamour in the media to get her home ? |

i feel so sorry for the parents family and friends of Meredith kercher who was a beautiful 21 year old woman who had her life ended
with only one person (Judy guede) getting serving 16 years ( not long enough) for her sexual assault and murder.
both Amanda Knox and her then boyfriend raffaele sollecito know what happened that night.
lets hope it comes out to give her family closure

I have always believed that both Knox and Sollecito are guilty of murder, and hope they get sent back to prison.
Amanda Knox has said that she will not attend the retrial. What does that tell you about her? |

Re-trial begins today in Italy in the absence of Amanda Knox.
According to the news reports whatever the verdict it's likely to lead to another appeal.
If a guilty verdict is returned will the US deport Ms Knox? |

I don't know much about the Italian legal system but I am sure there were reports about the actual investigation at the time. No idea if it was flawed or it was simple xenophobia on the part of the media. If Amanda Knox was in the apartment at the time I cannot imagine how she would be ignorant of what was happening even if she were not involved. |

These are along the lines of my thoughts. I have always thought that a lot of law enforcement systems around the world are incomplete or flawed and if media is to be believed the Italian system might be one.  |

Just read a little bit of it and it claimed that she was not in the apartment on the night but at her boyfriend's. The police did not allow the coroner to do a temperature check on the body which was in a locked bedroom so the time of death was difficult to establish. And there was a broken window. In the second hearing of the trial when Knox was released the judged claimed that there was no material evidence for her complicity in the crime. |

I saw a programme about that judges decision and he was seriously criticised about his interpretation of the evidence, specifically the forensic tests and how the results were interpreted, it was a maybe too complicated for me as it involved how multiple results on multiple tests on the same sample were interpreted, he simply look at each test as a pass or fail where apparently the correct was was to look at all the tests and percentages as a whole. Yeah I need to sit down now  |
