Ah, Combe Martin. Brings back memories of gigs, camping, farm scrumpy and huge hangovers.
I wouldn't have thought there'd be much in the way of clubs in north Devon as a whole. It's all pretty backwater stuff, beautiful though it is.
Dogging I would expect to be quite popular.
Sex on the beaches or clifftops. |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
I have very fond, totally non-sexual, memories of Combe Martin. Don't expect a lot except a lovely place in Devon out of season.
Walk along the cliffs and down to the secluded bays and breathe in the fresh air. |

It is. I love the walk along to my favourite secluded bay. I may have to get back to North Devon one day soon. I love Lyme so much I usually end up going there a couple of times a year. |

I grew up in Exeter and saw Devon (and Cornwall) as my playground and Devon is great for many types of experiences from hedonistic to total serenity. |

"where about is the Beaver in Bideford
"
Its in Appledore, just up the road from Bideford. Good food, good Beer.
Also, there are a couple of pubs in Instow which are really great and a good seafood restaurant next to the Wayfarer Inn.
If its a sunny day, get onto the Tarka trail at Bideford and walk up to Instow, its a lovely walk of about 5 miles.

"Ah Dartington. So sad the Uni closed down there. A unique arts college. Very sad. But glass is stunningly good.
I got my marbles there as well as the biggest Martini glasses ever."
I too got a lot of marbles when I visited with school and in my days of study there I picked up some good shot glasses. The colour and interwoven threads that ran through them were unique IMO. I learnt you should never keep them in direct sunlight though |

Dartington's a bit of a jaunt from Combe Martin. If you go a bit further you'll get to Dartmouth and Totnes is nice too.
There are swingers clubs just outside Exeter and Totnes if you don't mind the drive |

Totnes used to be one of my hangouts. More great times.
Exeter Swingers was opened around the end of last year I think and was the first club of this nature I went to in the early New Year. A few other in the area that are good for couples I hear but wouldn't know personally. |
