the William shatner part is the best with the voice activated doors (sssh) lol.

I just love that some of the funniest bits are in the background. They were and still are very funny.

I thought Airplae (the first one) was the funniest thing going when I first went to see it in 1981. It still is one of my all-time fave comedy films.

And stop calling me Shirley!

That's the hallmark of Leslie Nielsen's comedy - you have to keep watch of action in the background.

Brilliant film. It takes a good few looks before you see everything that's happening.

I also enjoyed the 'Police Squad' series too.

I'd go so far as to say the Stayin Alive dance scene in the first film is one of the best comedy scenes ever.

Can't argue with that! Especially the bit where he gets stabbed in the back and Julie Hegarty copies him, thinking it's part of the routine!
