All to often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, someone who will listen, a compliment, or the smallest act of kindness , all of which have the power to turn someones life around

The touch was talked about on radio 4 today. It has been shown that a doctor touching you on your arm for a few seconds increases the chances of you taking the prescribed medicine.
And for blokes even more so..
As an aside they also talked about how men find pictures of women more attractive with a red background rather than white or blue.
And how refs give penalties to teams who wear black. |

Kindness is too under used...
even here on the forums, to all the newbies and those who may rattle your cage on occasions....and.....
a smile is more attractive than a frown

Your quite right, I was recently troubled and I shared a coffee with a lovely lady (81) who was not only happy to have the company, share her years of wisdom
She didn't come out with any gems and yet after talking some how everything seemed clearer |
