I had Docs for years and still have some shoes, thought I'd get a new pair for work so went to the Dr Martens shop in Liverpool.

Things have changed a bit from my day you can now get pink, purple, plastic, veggie ones and all sorts !

What happened to just red or black

I have never owned a pair, and I hope I never will, they actually do not look at all comfortable.

the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Even better than Ecco

The trick is to not pull the laces too tight and break them in gradually.

Wish they still made brogues

Manchester

Never had a problem breaking them in. I had the shoes for school and a pair covered in smarties!

I buy them from cloggs online for my daughter, loads cheaper.

I love my boots... Been banned from wearing them though. I just put on a support bandage under my socks till they were broken in..

Seen a lovely pair I fancy... For winter wear
