So a call came in from a company, silent call and the caller then asked to speak to the house holder.
So asked them if they would like to buy double glazing, completely threw the poor girl, was obviously not on the script.
I know they are doing their job and yes was evil, but hell it felt good |

Another option may be to tell the coldcaller that no, you are not the householder, youre just visiting but if they'd like to ring you back at home in 30 minutes then you'd be interested.
Then give them a number,like say, oooh your local SS (Social services), mother in law, the local direct CID number, chip shop or whatever. Be imaginative. |

It was silent for approx 5 seconds until the autodialler, then put the call through to the next available operator"
so not a silent call ten, a silent call is when no one is free for the call to go through to and the companies are tightly regulated on the number of those they can make |

an then the Verbal abuse starts from them also as it happen 2 me
have 2 change my number due to it
even got the police involved as well

Oh if they start that I shall inform them that the call is being recorded for training purposes and as I have a phone system in my home I can do it |

you have to advise them at the start of the call if the call is being recorded by you, just as they do you "
And thats what I shall do with all calls in the future. That'll confuse em even more |
