Was reading today about a scheme being tested over the next few weeks. Where people in an area that has a major threat or emergency would get a text advising them what to do by the government..
First test is in easingwold in north Yorkshire...
It will be sent to all registered mobile phones.
Do you think it's a good idea...?
It will warn on things like terrorist attacks, pandemics, flood, chemical leaks, fire or plane or train disasters etc.. |
